has practiced since 1989.
In her 17 year legal career
Gordon worked in criminal law, juvenile law, family law, personal injury and
probate. Gordon represented indigent and
private clients in family court involving complicated and highly contested
custody issues. Over the years she has
been an advocate for children and parents in abuse and neglect cases. Her greatest joy comes from assisting many
families who adopt foster children. She
has represented male and female clients, persons with small estates and people
with large estates. She has been
appointed by the court to serve as a commissioner on condemnation suits.
A member of the State Bar of Texas, The College of the State Bar of Texas,
Brazoria County Bar Association, Gordon has worked to elevate the profession
she’s chosen. She has served as
President of Brazoria County Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, Brazoria
County Women’s Bar and 2005-2006 Chair State Bar of Texas 501-L Grivence Committee, Chair. She
is a trained mediator for family law disputes.
